Both sides of Edmond safety center debate argue pros, cons

The proposed public safety center will house police headquarters, the 911 center and emergency operations. The 83,068-square-foot building, to be built at Kelly Avenue and Main Street, is expected to answer the agencies' needs for the next 20 years. The jail will include 15 cells and an eight-person drunk tank. A projected 300 people will work in this building in 20 years.
