Man in motion

→Dez Bryant (below), OSU, WR: The sophomore pointed out earlier this week that he has been better at home than on the road this season, although that certainly has something to do with the coverages he faced at Missouri and Texas. This week, OSU will need him to make an impact in Lubbock both as a wideout and as a returner. In what could be a high-scoring affair, the Cowboys will need all the good field position Bryant can get them.

Double coverage

→Michael Crabtree (below) vs. the OSU secondary: In a postgame interview on the field last week, Tech QB Graham Harrell declared Crabtree the best receiver in the country. (OSU QB Zac Robinson was giving his receiver some love too, sporting a "Dez for Prez” shirt around town). OSU’s secondary will have its hands full containing Crabtree, who undoubtedly wants to make up for his drop in the end zone at the end of the game in Stillwater last year.

→Oklahoma State 27, Texas Tech 24: The Big 12 Carnival Ride just keeps pumping out top 10 games week after week. This is the fifth game between Big 12 top 10 opponents. There was only one last season. A lot of folks think the Cowboys might be the best in the Big 12. Something has to separate the four teams in the Big 12 South. This will help, although both the Cowboys and Red Raiders have Oklahoma left.
