Scattered thunderstorms forecast for Oklahoma

A mild weekend is forecast across Oklahoma before some scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to move into the state late Sunday night.
The National Weather Service forecast daytime temperatures ranging from the upper 40s to around 70 degrees across the state on Saturday, with overnight lows ranging from the upper 20s to lower 40s.
On Friday, skies were mostly clear across Oklahoma, with brisk winds giving mild temperatures a chilly edge. Daytime highs ranged from 61 degrees in Bartlesville and 63 degrees in Ponca City to 69 degrees in Altus and Frederick and 70 degrees in Lawton, according to the weather service.
The high in Enid, Guymon and Tulsa was 65 degrees, while Oklahoma City and Hobart saw a high of 68 degrees.
Mostly sunny skies are expected on Sunday, with highs from the 50s to around 70 degrees, but a storm system is forecast to develop in the state late Sunday and early Monday that could develop some thunderstorms.
Occasional showers and thunderstorms are expected on Monday, with highs ranging from the 40s to upper 60s and overnight lows mostly in the 40s and 50s.
Some patchy light drizzle is expected on Tuesday, with light rain likely and a slight chance for thunderstorms. Highs are to range from the mid 40s to around 70 degrees, with overnight lows from the 30s to around 60 degrees.
Mostly cloudy skies are expected on Wednesday, with a chance for rain. Highs are to range from the mid 40s to near 70 degrees, with overnight lows in the 30s and 40s.
