Volunteers with Project Linus made more than 100 blankets for children during their recent Make-A-Blanket Day.

The blankets will go to local charities, hospitals and state Department of Human Services offices. The group gathered Nov. 8 at The Stitching Post to make blankets.

The nonprofit Project Linus donates new, handmade blankets to children. The central Oklahoma chapter includes members from Oklahoma, Canadian, Cleveland, McClain and Grady counties.
