Police release name of man beaten to death Saturday in southwest Oklahoma City
Oklahoma City police have released the name of a man who died Saturday from an apparent beating, police Capt. Steve McCool said .
The victim was identified as Timothy John Murphy , 45, Oklahoma City.
Murphy was found dead outside a house at 717 1/2 SW 5 about 7:50 a.m. Saturday after someone called 911 and reported a body lying on the ground behind that address.
