Sam Bradford was named a finalist for the Davey O’Brien Award, which is given to college football’s top quarterback.
The other two finalists are Texas QB
Colt McCoy and Texas Tech QB
Graham Harrell.
Bradford, who leads the nation with 42 touchdown passes, will try and become the second Sooner to win the O’Brien.

ason White won the award in 2003 and 2004.
Guard
Duke Robinson and tight end
Jermaine Gresham were also named finalists for national awards.
Robinson is a finalist for the Outland Trophy, which is awarded to the top interior lineman. Ole Miss offensive tackle
Michael Oher and Alabama offensive tackle
Andre Smith are the other finalists.
Gresham is a finalist for the John Mackey Award, given to the top tight end.
