Bradford suffered the injury on OU’s third series of Saturday’s game at Oklahoma State. That forced the Sooner offense to operate primarily out of the shotgun the rest of the game.

Stoops said Bradford will wear a soft cast in the Big 12 title game against Missouri. The surgery shouldn’t preclude him from playing in OU’s bowl game.

Bradford’s play didn’t seem to be affected by the injury against OSU.

He completed 30 of 44 passes for 370 yards and four TDs in OU’s 61-41 victory.

BOX OUT FOR BIG 12 TITLE GAME
Middle linebacker Austin Box suffered a sprained knee against OSU and will miss the Big 12 title game, Stoops said.

Junior-college transfer Mike Balogun will start in place of Box in the middle against Missouri.

Stoops said it’s "too far out to know” if Box will return in time for OU’s bowl game.

Defensive end Auston English, however, could return for Saturday’s game, Stoops said. English has missed the last three games with a sprained knee.

REMATCH CITY
Saturday’s game will feature the first Big 12 Championship rematch in the history of the league.

Last season, OU defeated Missouri 38-17 in San Antonio.

Fred, back to back. John, the fumble he dropped he scored a TD on. I would say that he wasn't affected.

What about OU KSU in 2003, wasn't that a rematch from 2000? or do they mean back to back?

I only saw the replay once, but at first glance the injury to Box seemed like somewhat of a cheapshot, Box was dropping back in to coverage and appeared to be 8-10 yards from the line of scrimmage when Davis blocked low into his knee, any comment? I do believe it is against the rule to perform such a block that far down field.

"Bradford’s play didn’t seem to be affected by the injury against OSU."

Huh? He played great, but Coach Stoops told the PRESS that it caused the 2 fumbles. That caused them to play out of the shotgun in the 2nd half. How can you report that he didn't seem to be affected?
