→Location: Columbia, Mo.

→Nickname: Tigers

→Record: 9-3, 5-3 Big 12

→Last game: Missouri rallied from a 16-point deficit to take the lead over Kansas in the fourth quarter. But Todd Reesing found Kerry Meier with a 26-yard TD in the final minute to lift Kansas to a 40-37 win.

→Best player: Before the season started, QB Chase Daniel was considered one of the frontrunners to win the Heisman. He’s been overshadowed by the QBs of the Big 12 South, but Daniel has still posted a solid season with 3,880 yards and 34 TDs.

→Why they could win: With Columbia being a two-hour drive away, this is basically a home game for Mizzou. The Tigers, while banged up, still boast one of the best offenses in the nation, led by Daniel, receiver Jeremy Maclin and tight end Chase Coffman.

→Why they could lose: While the Tigers won the Big 12 North, they were exposed by teams from the South — losing to Oklahoma State and Texas, and barely escaping Baylor.
