What they’re saying about Florida’s offense:
"Tim Tebow simply won’t let them lose. Every football fan in America is tired of CBS analyst Gary Danielson’s love affair with Tebow. But truth be told, Danielson’s words ring true. Tebow is one of the greatest leaders this sport has ever seen. In his two seasons as a starter, Tebow has willed his team to victory more times than I can count. He’s a winner, plain and simple. And winners don’t lose championship games in which they’re favored.”
SI.com, within its three reasons the Gators should win.
"Wasn’t it just yesterday that
Urban Meyer was taking over at
Florida and everybody was wondering if his spread option offense would work in the
SEC? Of course, with Tim Tebow, any offense would work.”
ESPN.com’s Chris Low
"The thing I have seen about them all year, ever since they lost to
Ole Miss and probably before that, they score so many points so fast that everybody gets out of their game plan. You’re trying to catch up, you start doing things you shouldn’t be doing. They get you out of your game. They get three touchdowns ahead of you, man, and you’re trying to catch up.”
Florida State coach Bobby Bowden
"Once upon a time, Florida’s offense was nicknamed the Fun ’N’ Gun under
Steve Spurrier. A decade later under Urban Meyer, it’s the Flash ’N’ Dash. Perhaps no team this side of the
NFL has more pure speed at the skill positions than the Gators.”
Doug Secrest, The Birmingham News
"They have some outstanding athletes and it’s hard to match up. We had six defensive backs in the game and we still had trouble matching up on pass plays. When you have that many weapons, you can get those matchups. And they win those matchups.”
Vanderbilt coach Bobby Johnson
What they’re saying about Oklahoma’s offense:
"This is an all-time offense. Oklahoma led the nation in scoring at 54 points per game and eclipsed 60 points in their final five games of the season. Featuring Heisman Trophy QB Sam Bradford, the nation’s best offensive line and a bevy of explosive playmakers, this Sooners offense may truly be unstoppable.”
SI.com, within its three reasons the Sooners should win.
"It’s jailbreak every time you watch those games. They are used to it in that league. When you see them embarrass teams is when (the opposition’s) not used to it.”
Florida coach Urban Meyer
"Getting into the end zone is supposed to be difficult, which is why Oklahoma’s numbers seem surreal.”
Blair Kerkhoff, The Kansas City Star
"I’m really impressed with Sam Bradford. He’s everything they said he would be and more. Just pinpoint accuracy, good poise. He scrambled for a couple big plays and then you look at some of the guys he’s throwing the ball to... They’ve just got a lot, a lot of depth on offense. They’re shuttling guys around and doing a good job with it. We just weren’t able to keep up with it. We just weren’t.”
Kansas coach Mark Mangino

FL'll Win
My theory has always been that you can usually determine the winner of a football game at any level by two components...quarterback play and the lines on both sides of the ball. I believe that gives us a slight edge. Bradford's the bomb!
