Dez won’t need knee surgery
Oklahoma State sophomore wide receiver Dez Bryant won’t need surgery to repair his injured left knee, a source at Oklahoma State said Friday.

Preliminary tests revealed no damage to any major ligaments or cartilage in the knee.

Bryant injured the knee during the second quarter of Tuesday night’s 42-31 loss to Oregon in the Holiday Bowl. He returned briefly, but appeared to reinjure the knee. He tried to return to the game again, but was limping significantly on the field.

Despite the injury, Bryant set single-game Holiday Bowl records for receptions (13) and receiving yards (167).
