The No. 6-ranked Sooners are 16-1 because they’re good.

Further proof came with a 78-63 victory over No. 11-ranked Texas on Big Monday before a sellout crowd of 12,423 at Lloyd Noble Center.

Texas coach Rick Barnes threw a revolving door of players at OU, but to no avail as the Sooners snapped their six-game losing streak against the Longhorns.

There’s no debating forward Blake Griffin was the best player on the floor, collecting a nation-leading 14th double-double this season and finishing with 20 points and 10 rebounds.

But the Sooners appear to have a full complement of players in the starting lineup.
