Former Custer County Sheriff Mike Burgess takes the stand in his own defense
Former Custer County Sheriff Mike Burgess, dressed in a black suit, took the stand in his own defense today and denied having a sexual relationship with all but one of the women who have accused him of sexual harassment and abuse.
Burgess, looking very serious throughout his testimony, admitted he had an affair with former drug court participant Joy Mason.
