STILLWATER — Oklahoma State added its 20th commitment Sunday night when Navasota, Texas, running back Dexter Pratt gave his verbal to the Cowboys after an unexpected visit to campus, according to multiple Internet reports.

Pratt, a 6-foot-1, 220-pounder rated by Rivals.com as the No. 15 overall player in Texas, had been committed to LSU for 10 months and had planned to enroll there earlier this month.

But unexpected circumstances led to Pratt returning home after just a few days at the Baton Rouge, La., campus. He then scheduled a visit to OSU and arrived Saturday with his parents.

An NCAA Clearinghouse issue regarding one of Pratt’s high school courses is expected to be resolved within the week, which could make Pratt eligible to enroll immediately at OSU.
