Oklahoma and Miami have rescheduled their game at Dolphin Stadium next season to Oct. 3 because of a scheduling conflict with the stadium.

The new date completes the Sooners schedule.

OU will now play non-conference games against BYU (Sept. 5 in Arlington, Texas, at Dallas Cowboys new stadium), Idaho State (Sept. 12 in Norman), Tulsa (Sept. 19 in Norman) and Miami.

"Working in concert with our coach, Bob Stoops, we are pleased with the quality of our non-conference schedule and feel fortunate to adhere to our core scheduling philosophy in preparing our team for a rigorous conference slate," said OU athletics director Joe Castiglione. "It took a considerable amount of cooperation between Oklahoma and Miami to maintain that game, but the two schools were able to work together to keep it on the schedule."

OU's 2009 schedule will include eight bowl teams from the previous season.

OU will have an open date on Sept. 26. 2009 Oklahoma football schedule
