Will Rogers hosted the sixth Academy Awards in 1933, and he presented all the awards.

Walt Disney holds the record for winning the most Oscars (four) in a single ceremony. Disney also was honored with one full-size and seven miniature statuettes for his animated feature "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs."

The Academy Awards ceremony made its TV debut in 1953.

The Oscars were first broadcast in color in 1966.
