Position: Linebacker Ht/Wt.: 6-2/220 Chose OU over: Kansas, Kansas State Where he fits on the depth chart: The Sooners are loaded at linebacker, making Bird a probable redshirt candidate. Long-term impact: At some point, perhaps as soon as 2010, Bird will compete for playing time, probably at middle linebacker.
