Oklahoma released its spring practice schedule Thursday. The Sooners will begin spring drills March 3 and finish April 11 with the Red-White Spring Game.

OU will hold scrimmages on March 12 and March 28, with practices taking place on March 3, 5, 7, 10, 25 and 27 and April 2, 3, 6, 8 and 10.

Coach Bob Stoops said he would announce which practices would be open to the public at a later date, though most of the workouts will be closed. Times will also be set later.

Ticket information for the Red-White game, which will not be televised, will be announced in the coming weeks.

Trice gets paperwork in
Four-star cornerback Marcus Trice, out of Lancaster, Texas, has worked out his paperwork issue and was officially added to OU’s recruiting class Thursday. Trice was held off the official list on Wednesday, signing day, because of a snag in how he submitted his letter of intent.

The Sooners signed 23 players to the 2009 class.
