Area around Oak Tree addition closed

The area around Oak Tree housing addition has been closed. Only residents are being allowed in the neighborhood, said Glynda Chu, Edmond Police Department spokeswoman.

No Oak Tree club members are being allowed into the damaged area, Chu said.

Access is being limited to Sorghum Mill Estates also.

Waterloo and Santa Fe Avenue are going to remain closed. the other major roadways in Edmond are open to traffic.

There will be officers in the damaged area throughout the night to prevent any looting, Chu said.
