EDMOND — Officials in Edmond worked Thursday with Federal Emergency Management Agency representatives to assess tornado damage in the northwest part of the city.

Matt Stillwell, Edmond’s emergency management director, said this will help determine whether there will be federal assistance.

More than 200 homes were affected. No one was seriously hurt.

Stillwell said he viewed aerial photographs from the Civil Air Patrol, but found no more damage.

Edmond police want people to stay out of the damaged areas unless they live or have business there, said Glynda Chu, Edmond police spokeswoman.
