ADA — Tuesday's tornado stopped well short of the Pontotoc County town of Ada. But when Harold and Gloria Muse walked their property 5 miles south of town the next morning to look for damage from the storm's gusty winds, they found something that didn't belong: a propane company's notepad from Lone Grove, more than 60 miles away.

The notepad apparently came from the John Bogle Propane Co., which has offices in Lone Grove, according to the header on the notepad. Harold Muse, 69, said he could hardly believe his eyes when he saw where it came from.

Calls to John Bogle Propane Co. were unanswered Thursday. Efforts to determine if the business was damaged by the tornado were unsuccessful.
