What happened: Ethan was found dead near some video games he was playing in the living room of his home. Cause of death was listed as a gunshot to the head. Police said the boy's mother, stepfather and a friend were in the three-bedroom home when the shooting occurred. The case remains unsolved. Police Chief Robert Cancemi has forwarded paperwork to the district attorney's office for consideration of possible charges. Cancemi said he could not comment further on the case since it is pending.
