What happened: Johnny, a football player at the Tulsa School for Science and Technology, was at a party at the Lacy Park Recreational Center, 2134 N Madison Place, after a basketball game when shots were fired into a crowd in the parking lot. Young was hit in the head. Marcus Dewayne Hill, 21, Jarvis Lee Jones, 18 and Christopher Weeden, 19 were convicted of second-degree murder.

Other: “He had a good heart,” said Johnny Young Sr., his father. “People liked to be around him.”
