Age: 14

Place of residence: Hollis

Disappeared: Sept. 25, 2006

Found: Oct. 8, 2006

What happened: Layers of gray duct tape and a yellow, plastic bag were tightly wrapped around Marina Rodriguez's eyes, nose and mouth when her decomposing body was discovered nearly two weeks after she went missing. She died from suffocation, authorities said. The teenager was last seen with Francisco Rogel, her stepfather's cousin, who was living with her family. A material witness warrant for Rogel was issued, but he has not been found. Authorities said they believe he fled to Mexico.

Other: Jeremias Garces, her uncle, earlier said Rodriguez was a good student who loved to read, watch movies, smile and dance.
