About empowerment
Regarding "Fear a weak argument against deregulation plan” (Our Views, March 22): Oklahoma teachers are among the lowest-paid in the country in spite of being in the top 10 for teacher quality. When you talk about the "powerful teachers unions” and the freedom from having to bargain with the unions, it sounds as though teachers are gaining benefits like a Wall Street billionaire...
