Dogs seized after attack
Enid officers impounded three pit bull terriers Saturday after a woman and her 2-year-old daughter were attacked. Enid police officials said Rhonda Morgan, 41, was in her front yard with her daughter when she saw the two dogs charging. A police report states that as the dogs mauled the woman, a third attacked. An officer turned on lights and siren to try to drive the dogs away. All three were recovered. The dogs belonged to two separate owners, officials said.
Trial delayed in fund theft
The jury trial scheduled for Monday for a woman accused of misappropriating money from a health care provider has been delayed. Rita Ramy was charged in July with 20 counts of theft or embezzlement from Woods County Medicine and Pediatric Specialists, and one count of bank robbery and incidental crimes. A new trial date is set for June.
