AUDIT ANGERS SUPERINTENDENT
JENKS — The superintendent of the Jenks School District said the federal government is auditing his district because he supported a bill that would change oversight of standardized tests in Oklahoma. He said the federal "compliance review” audit comes about a month after a fellow superintendent warned at a United Suburban Schools Association meeting that anyone who supported Senate Bill 1111 could be audited. State schools Superintendent Sandy Garrett said her agency can’t request audits and likely a parent in Jenks asked for it.
