Tulsa teen on probation for infant killed by puppy making minimal efforts, records show

BY MATT BARNARD - Tulsa World Published: May 1, 2009
A teenager whose infant son was killed by a puppy has made minimal efforts to meet her probation requirements, a court document shows.

Linzy Earles was found delinquent on a second-degree manslaughter charge in February after her 2-month-old baby died from extensive dog bites.

The charge involves an accusation of “culpable negligence” — an omission to do something that a reasonably careful person would do or failure to use ordinary care and caution.

A juvenile judge required that she take drug tests along with counseling and education programs.
