Newsroom 101 is presented by the News & Information Center staff at The Oklahoman in conjunction with the newspaper's Educational Services Program.

The 10-week program is for high school students interested in different areas of journalism and is designed to cultivate the skills needed to be good journalists.

This publication contains content produced by the 2009 program participants and will be distributed to metro area high schools and other locations.

Newsroom 101 publications have won the National Association of Education Publisher's awards twice, most recently in 2006.

The program also works in cooperation with NewsOK.com, which carries the content of this publication.
