Midwest City woman dies after swerving to avoid fridge on I-35 in Oklahoma City
A Midwest City woman has died after she swerved on Interstate 35 to avoid a refrigerator in the roadway.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 53-year-old Maria Torres was killed in the crash around 7:30 Sunday night.
The highway patrol says Torres and two passengers were thrown from the 2000 Chevrolet Tracker as it rolled over four times. The passengers were both hospitalized.
