NORMAN — Oklahoma’s baseball team concluded its regular season Sunday with a 6-5 win and three-game sweep over Texas A&M at Mitchell Park.

OU (40-16 overall, 17-10 Big 12) will play Texas Tech (24-30, 12-15) in a Big 12 Tournament pool-play game on Wednesday at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark.

Garrett Richards struck out a career-high 11 in front of 1,385 fans Sunday. He allowed two runs and five hits in six innings before four relievers faced a late A&M rally. The Aggies (34-21, 14-13) scored three runs over the final two innings, but Ryan Duke notched his 14th save of the season.

Jamie Johnson, Ross Hubbard and Chris Ellison had two hits each for OU. The Sooners scored just two earned runs as Texas A&M committed four errors.
