Oklahoma House honors Wayman Tisdale
The Oklahoma House has honored the life of former Oklahoma and NBA star Wayman Tisdale with a resolution that acknowledges his accomplishments.
The House adopted the resolution on Monday. It's author, Rep. Jabar Shumate of Tulsa , moved that all House members be made co-authors.
Tisdale died Friday in his hometown of Tulsa following a two-year battle with cancer. He was 44.
