TULSA — A 29-year-old businessman says he wants to be the next mayor of Tulsa.

Republican Clay Clark announced his campaign on Thursday, saying he wants to promote conservative principles in a conservative town.

He says he feels he's being called to stand up for the beliefs and values of the average citizen of Tulsa .

Clark was named as Oklahoma 's young entrepreneur of the year in 2007.
