While most teams promote skill-position players in the preseason, Tecumseh coach Greg George points to his offensive and defensive lines as the team’s strong point.

George said his offensive and defensive fronts are stocked with experienced talent. Overall, the team has six starters back on offense and defense.

Among the standouts on the line, Hunter Montgomery, a 5-foot-9, 250-pounder, starts at guard and defensive tackle. Garrett Matlock, 6-0, 275, starts at tackle on both sides of the ball. Colten Williams (6-0, 230) anchors the offensive line from his center spot.

GLENPOOL STILL THE FAVORITE
Although 15 starters are gone from last season’s state championship team, Glenpool remains the pick in District 4A-2.

Star Spencer got a lot of respect in the coaches’ voting as well. The Bobcats, who were 9-3 a year ago, were picked by two coaches as the No.
