Eldridge breaks finger
OU’s Brody Eldridge has broken a bone in his pinkie finger in his right hand, but won’t miss any time on the field. Eldridge went through a full practice on Wednesday, still working at both tight end and center. Coach Bob Stoops said his ability to snap the ball and catch will not be inhibited by the injury.

"Not a big deal,” Stoops said. "You tape a couple fingers together and keep rolling.”

Eldridge had moved from backup tight end to starting center before last week’s loss to BYU. A first-time starter at the position, he was tabbed as one of the Sooners’ best performers, logging 20 knockdowns. Earlier this week, he began working more at tight end.
