STILLWATER - Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy announced today that running back Kendall Hunter is doubtful for Saturday's game against Rice.
Hunter injured his right ankle in the loss to Houston and was on the sideline in a protective boot in the second half. Gundy updated Hunter's status during the Big 12 teleconference, after suggesting Sunday that the injury was likely "significant."
Keith Toston and Beau Johnson, who filled in for Hunter against Houston, would assume the work load at running back.
Kickoff Saturday is 6 p.m. at Boone Pickens Stadium.
