Cowboys gain hoops commit
OSU picked up its fourth men’s basketball commitment recently, with junior college wing man J.P. Olukemi giving his pledge to the Cowboys.

Olukemi, a 6-foot-7 forward from Vincennes Community College in Indiana, projects as one of the top junior-college recruits in the country by Scout.com.

"Great body and good at attacking the basket,” Vincennes assistant Brian Davis said of Olukemi in an interview with Scout.com. "He could replace James Anderson if he leaves early for the NBA.”

South Florida, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Providence are others believed to have interest in the former California prep standout.

Olukemi plans to sit out this season and enroll at OSU in January, giving him three years of eligibility. He averaged 14.9 points and four rebounds at Vincennes last season.
