College football and the flu: Teams that have had flu scares

Flu scares
Several college football teams across the nation have been dealing with flu-like symptoms, including some confirmed cases of the H1N1 virus, commonly known as Swine flu. Here’s a look at some of the reported instances of flu-like symptoms affecting college football programs:

→Georgia: Before the Bulldogs opened in Stillwater, safety Makiri Pugh tested positive for the H1N1 virus, and quarterback Joe Cox was forced to travel separate from the team after struggling with flu-like symptoms.

→Florida: The defending national champions have been hit by the flu bug, including running back Jeff Demps, tight end Aaron Hernandez and defensive end Jermaine Cunningham.
