The new NFL RedZone channel provides NFL fans an opportunity to catch more scoring plays. The commercial-free HD channel focuses on game action inside the 20-yard-line "red zone” and provides updated highlights.
Hosted by Scott Hanson from the NFL Network’s studios in Los Angeles, NFL RedZone switches to every NFL game on Sunday afternoons. When a team gets inside the 20-yard line, crucial plays are shown live.
Cox Communications has not picked up the channel, but it is available on Dish Network and AT&T U-Verse. Dish offers it as part of its premium sports package for $5.99 a month and AT&T U-Verse offers it for $5 a month as part of its HD premium tier.
DirecTV has its own Red Zone channel as part of its NFL Sunday Ticket subscription.
