Twitter helps Thunder develop strong bond

The social networking site has become all the rage among tech-savvy young professionals, which pretty much describes the core group on this Thunder squad. They are certainly young, and they have more gadgets than an Apple Store.
Heck, Jeff Green lost his cell phone a couple days ago and felt like he fell off the face of the earth.
The Thunder forward said so on his Twitter account.
Green is the latest player to join the craze, jumping on board only after Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook made an account for him.
"I wouldn’t get on it,” Green said Monday during Thunder media day. "I really wasn’t a fan.
"Now that I’m on it, it’s kind of addicting.”
As the NBA prepares to announce guidelines for players, coaches and team officials who use Twitter and other social networking sites, the Thunder will be paying close attention. The league is expected to adopt a policy that is less stringent than that of the NFL, which prohibits social media use from 90 minutes before kickoff until the post-game access period for media interviews is finished.
Comments made on Twitter, Facebook and the like will be treated like those made in more traditional media.
