Four children, all 10 or younger, have been placed in state care after they were found in a home with trash, human blood and uncapped needles easily accessible.

Their mother, Melodie Brooke Larson, 30, was arrested at about 10 p.m. Friday after Tulsa Police officers served a search warrant at the home in the 9800 block of East 37th Street, jail records show.

They found a substance that tested positive for methamphetamine as well as numerous prescription drugs within reach of a child, according to an arrest report.
