"It was whenever Aaron Boone hit that walk-off home run for the Yanks (in the 11th inning of Game 7 of the 2003 ALCS to beat the Red Sox). I was raised by my grandpa to be a huge Yankees fan, and I was actually over at Nana and Pop Pop’s house.

"He hit that ball, and I was going nuts. I don’t know how old I was, and I don’t think I knew what was going on, but I was going nuts because they were going nuts because I love them so much.”

"We were jumping up and down in front of the TV. I think there were Cheetos and popcorn flying all over the place. Dogs and cats are running around scared to death. We were just living the dream.”
