OSU report card: Zac Robinson gets an A

ZAC ROBINSON: A
The Cowboy quarterback had his best game of the season. He threw it well, going 22-of-35 for 227 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions. He ran it well, picking up 39 yards on seven carries. All the way around, Robinson played solid and smart.

FIRST-HALF PASS DEFENSE: C-
Missouri rolled up 259 yards passing and averaged more than 21 yards a completion. With big play after big play, the Tigers were able to keep pace with the Cowboys in the first half.

SECOND-HALF PASS DEFENSE: B+
Bill Young and his defense came alive in the second half. They intercepted Missouri quarterback Blaine Gabbert twice and limited him to only 64 yards on 9-of-19 passing.

HUBERT ANYIAM: A-
The sophomore receiver continues to play with more and more confidence. Playing in place of the suspended Dez Bryant, Anyiam had 10 catches for 119 yards and one touchdown. If not for a couple of fourth-quarter drops, he might’ve earned an A-plus.

LATE GAME TIME: C
The teams showed no ill effects of the 8:15 p.m. start, but the fans had a long day. With homecoming activities and a game that lasted until almost midnight, plenty of folks left early and those who stayed until the end didn’t arrive home until the wee hours of Sunday morning.
