But in the third quarter, Mensik donned a nameless No. 69 jersey and moved to right tackle.
"We don't like to (play Mensik at both positions), but we're in that situation," said Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops.
Jarvis Jones and Brody Eldridge both suffered season-ending injuries in last week's loss to Nebraska, dwindling the Oklahoma offensive line depth.
Mensik did not record a catch, but had a Landry Jones pass thrown his way in the end zone in the third quarter.
Mensik has two career catches for 14 yards.
SOONERS STOP MILLER
Texas A&M defensive end/linebacker Von Miller, the nation's sack leader with 15.5 sacks, never got to Oklahoma's quarterback on Saturday, but he didn't get to much of anything in the Aggie loss.
