Prep insider: Stillwater home to 7 state finals
High school football fans in the Stillwater area will have no problem finding high school games of interest the next two weekends as all but one of the state’s eight state championships will be played in the city.

The only game not being held at either Oklahoma State’s Boone Pickens Stadium or Stillwater High’s new Pioneer Stadium is the Class 6A title game. That championship game, between Jenks and Tulsa Union, will be played at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the University of Tulsa’s Chapman Stadium.
The agreement between the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association and Oklahoma State calls for five of the six 11-man championship games to be held at Boone Pickens Stadium this season and all six at OSU from 2010-2013.
The agreement calls for OSU to let the OSSAA use the facility — fully staffed — at no charge.
"It definitely made things easier,” the OSSAA’s David Jackson said of the scheduling.
