High school notebook: Madill's Darryl Fields commits to SMU
Madill senior running back Darryl Fields has committed to Southern Methodist .
Fields picked the Mustangs despite having offers from several Big 12 teams including Oklahoma State , Texas Tech , Colorado and both Kansas schools.
Fields also has offers from Arkansas , Rice and Tulsa among others.
