Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook tells The Oklahoman the five best things about sports — and the five worst things about sports:

FIVE BEST
→NBA Finals: "I like the whole excitement. That’s for all the marbles. I like how competitive everybody is. The focus changes and the atmosphere changes.”

→The Olympics: "You get to compete for your country. I like track events. It’s a fun event to watch, and it’s not that long. I like the 100-meter dash.”

→World Series: "I’m not a huge baseball fan, but when the World Series comes around, I usually watch it. It seems like the games are always close.”

→The Final Four: "It was fun. I’ve been there twice.”

March Madness: "How exciting it is. You get to play in certain NBA arenas, and that’s one of the first times you get to play in those arenas in front of a lot more fans.”

FIVE WORST
→Wrestling: "I used to like it when I was younger but I realized it was fake when I got older.”

→Losing to Memphis in the Final Four: "Losing was tough, especially on that big stage.”

→Baseball’s season: "Baseball has too many games. 162 games is too long. I think people would watch it more if you didn’t have that many games.”

→Unnecessary celebrations: "I don’t like excessive celebrations no matter what sport.”

→Soccer: "I don’t know how to play it. Every other sport, I can play. But I can’t play soccer. I’m not good with coordination.”
