Swine flu vaccine available for children in Norman

NORMAN — Swine flu vaccine is available for younger children who need to get two doses, according to health officials.

It is recommended that children younger than 10 years old get a second dose of the swine flu vaccine to maximize their protection against the flu, said Shari Kinney, director of the Cleveland County Health Department.

The doses should be separated by at least four weeks, health officials said. A longer interval between doses is acceptable.
