Maybe it should be called "possessions of the month.”

Kevin Durant drained a 20-footer with 14.4 seconds left to make it a two-possession game in a Dec. 23 win in Phoenix.


Seconds before his big shot, Durant missed a jumper, but rookie James Harden snared an offensive rebound. It allowed the Thunder to milk 20 more seconds off the clock before Durant’s dagger all but sealed the win.

"James won the game for us,” Durant said. "That was the game. He also got me a pass to get a good look. I was fortunate enough to hit the shot.”
