NewsOK ranked among the best

NewsOK, The Oklahoman’s Web site, is ranked among the nation’s top 10 newspaper Web sites for sports coverage, according to judges for an Associated Press Sports Editors contest. The results were announced Dec. 26.

NewsOK competed in the category for newspaper Web sites with at least 1 million unique visitors a month. Others in the top 10 included prominent newspapers: The New York Times, Boston Globe, New York Daily News, Washington Post, Miami Herald, USA Today, Los Angeles Times, St. Petersburg Times and Philadelphia Daily News/Inquirer.

Kelly Dyer Fry, vice president of the news and information center for OPUBCO Communications Group said, "This is quite an honor. These are top sites in the U.S., clearly we are among good company. We strive to engage readers, it’s always nice to be honored for your efforts.”
