Mitchell enrolled at OSU
After having to return home to address academic issues last fall, Joe Mitchell of Katy (Texas) Morton Ranch has returned to Oklahoma State and is enrolled for the spring semester. Through no fault of his own, Mitchell got caught up in an academic fraud controversy involving multiple coaches at Morton Ranch and had to return to Katy because his eligibility was in question. Mitchell was never accused of any wrongdoing.

The 6-3, 215-pound safety prospect has gotten the issue settled and has joined fellow defensive back Malcolm Murray, quarterback Johnny Deaton, defensive back Devin Hedgepeth and linebacker Caleb Lavey as spring enrollees for the Cowboys.

Toston set to play in Shrine game
OSU running back Keith Toston will play in the 2010 East-West Shrine Game on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Fla.

The All-Big 12 performer will be coached by former NFL coach Marty Schottenheimer on the West team.
